Though it is the middle of
the Dolomites, Cibiana pass is far from traffic even in summer: good place
to go bicycling. The road runs almost completely under trees and the scenary
is not very exciting...the effort to get to the top on the contrary...
Both sides are rather hard, the northern one has the last 6 km. always
set on 9% and more. Right before this challenge starts you can stop to
visit the nice village of Cibiana, famous for its "murales", paintings
decorating the external walls of the houses.
